We want to be available to you from the first inquiry, all the way until your photos are delivered, and even hung on the wall! Having a photo session done can be overwhelming at times, but we want you to be fully informed throughout the entire process, and never feel confused or abandoned.

Upon inquiry, we will begin by setting a date, time, and location. Then, we will move into envisioning your session, what's important to you, and what connections you want to capture most. We will chat about outfit ideas, and family dynamics, and even what will get a genuine smile out of Jimmy!
When we've determined all the details, you'll receive an email from us, where you can sign your contract and pay your booking deposit all online! We've really tried to make the process easy for our clients, and I think it's one of the things that sets us apart! You'll receive a few different emails to remind you of your session, and just to reach out to see if you need anything or have any questions! We'll also keep in touch about the weather just in case something were to happen.
Then, it's the big day! Be sure to arrive a few minutes early to make sure we find each other, and to smooth out any stray hairs or wrinkles in clothing. We have a workflow we go through, so don't worry about a thing! We'll take care of you!
At the longer sessions, we'll start by taking the "looking" portraits first - you know...the ones you can send to Grandma! Then, just enjoy each other! We'll be there to guide you into flattering positions, but you will mostly be looking at and interacting with each other!
During the petite sessions, the majority of the photos will be "looking" portraits, and just a few that are more candid. This is great if you just want to do a quick update for your family or children's milestones.
After your session, we'll work hard to get your images edited and loaded to an online gallery within about a week. You can download your digital images, and if your package included a print credit, you can use that to order your prints all online!
Of course, if you'd like, we offer a complimentary design session, where we can show you what your images will look like on your walls using a special software! We can help you determine which package/products best fit you and your needs. Your prints/products should be delivered about a week or two afterward!
We are not a department store photography service. We offer custom photography for your family, and will deliver top notch client care! While I am passionate about making sure people print their photos professionally (and not at the convenience store down the street), and I desperately want to make sure that your children are able to see themselves in albums and in portraits on your walls, we realize that having everything done for you may not be everyone's cup of tea. Some people like to hire interior decorators, and others like to decorate their own home. We absolutely understand both, and want to provide a way for each and every one of you to enjoy your photos printed, and not left on a disc or thumb drive in a drawer somewhere. So, here's how our pricing works:
The session fee covers your photographer's time in shooting and editing your session, along with high-resolution digital images. Some packages include a print credit that you may use toward a la carte prints and products. Your booking deposit is non-refundable, but it will be applied toward your session total. You may also choose to have a complimentary design session, and we can handle everything for you! Whatever you choose, we're happy to serve you!
